April 29 AI in game programming, and newsI had a discusion here: http://www.gamecareerguide.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23 I think beginners may find it handy. And interesting news: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/low/technology/6600965.stm I couldn't find what model they've used for the simulation. IEEE Spectrum this month had an article about Hierarchical Temporal Memory (HTM). http://www.numenta.com/ The platform is for Linux and Mac and is free, these make that a perfect research platform. February 18 C++ containersToday I was working on a program and didn't remember how I can remove a member of a list, after googling found this terrific site: http://www.linuxsoftware.co.nz/cppcontainers.html there is a neat diagram at the bottom of the page, it's worth to look at it if you're a C++ programmer. November 05 British MuseumA few days ago I and a friend of mine went to the museum and I took these photos. In one of them you see four heads, they are (left to right) Sokrates, Antisthenes, Chrysippos, Epikouros. And in one of them you can see an Amazon and two Greek soldiers. October 13 Temporal logic and Neural NetworksI started a project about temporal logic and neural networks. Hopefully, next week I can write here more details about it, IMHO this topic is really interesting. I added another book to the book list which I'm reading for the Logic in computer science course. August 04 BookI added 4 books that I should read this semester, to the book list. I think the best one is that data mining book. Actually machine learning is my favourite subject, so this semester courses are a little bit boring. |
